3 days from Fes to Merzouga dunes

Tour F3: Fes - Ziz Valley - Merzouga - Fes

Day 1 : Fes-Ifrane – Azrou ceder forest Middle Atlas Montains – Toudgha Gorges

At 8:00 am, our driver will pick you up after having breakfast. You leave Fes passing through Ifrane City (you’ll be discovering one of the typical cities for both its cold weather throughout the year and distinctive architecture), and then we stop at a cedar forest of Azrou (apes habitat ) as well as enjoying the wilderness landscape along the way . Lunch will take place in Midelt city which is known of apples. Afterwards we continue our way through the middle atlas mountains to Rich town. As soon as leaving Rich town there is a sequent of berber villages scattered around before we get to Todgha Gorges by the evening.

Day 2 : Todgha gorges – Tinghir – Erfoud – Merzougua Desret

After breakfast, we will have free time to walk to enjoy the incredible view of gorges and the river that runs abundantly , and then we will pass through many berber villages till we get to Tinjdad where we’re gonna have lunch. The

subsequent stop is much interesting for it will be at the berber shop where you can get your turbans, along with souvenirs. Afterwards, we head to Merzouga Sahara desert. After relaxing and having a cup of tea, you will be taken by camels over the dunes for 1 hour and a third before we reach the equipped camp. Then you will go on foot to the top of a high dune for sandboarding and see the sunset. Dinner is served inside a Berber tent with drums music.

Day 3 : Merzougua Erg Chebbi dunes – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fes

After enjoying the sunrise, having breakfast and shower,  you will be carried by camels back to Merzougua village where your driver will be waiting for you to depart from Merzougua . while you are passing through Erfoud city( the original place of fossils industry)  there is a museum of fossils. We can make a stop there if you are interested to see how fossils are being made initially by carving special stones, otherwise, we keep moving through Ziz Valley and Middle Atlas Mountains till we get to Midelt city for lunch. We reach Fes by evening/night.
