3 days tour from Marrakesh to Merzouga desert
Day 1 : Marrakesh - Ouarzazate - Dades gorges:
I will pick you up at 8:00 am. We will start our journey by travelling across Tizi-N-Tishka atlas pass (2260m) with amazing views across the mountains to visit the UNESCO world heritage site “ Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah “, Kasbah is surrounded by a protective high thick wall against external attacks with many towers in. We have lunch there, and then we drive to the city of roses: Kalaat Magouna. We cross the rose valley and make a stop at roses cooperative to see how they produce various products from roses like shampoo, soap, and perfume. Then we continue to Dades Gorges where we spend the night in a riad / hotel.
Day 2 : From Dades gorges to Merzouga:
After breakfast, our journey will start at 8:00 am, Berber villages are scattered along the way. The first destination will be in Togha Gorges; it's a water canyon between very high mountains and it will be the first destination for Morocco mountaineering enthusiasts. Then we go to have lunch in Tinjdad city. After lunch we drive and make a very important stop at the Berber shop to get your Turbans, along with souvenirs. Afterward we go straight to the Sahara desert of Merzouga where the camels owner will be waiting for you to be taken on an adventure in the sand dunes we will spend the night in an immaculate equipped camp around which you’ll have your dinner. During the night, you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber drum band which is a great opportunity to enjoy both the sunset and the sunrise over the golden sand dunes.
Day 3 : Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Marrakech:
You will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise, and then take a camel ride back to the hotel where you are having breakfast and taking a shower. Then we go our way directly to Ouarzazate city where our lunch will take place. There are a lot of natural landscapes to discover on our last day including, Dades Valley, an amazing views across the High Atlas Mountains. Afterwards we finally head to Marrakech.
