Tangier

Day 1: Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen

Our journey will start once you arrive at Tangier; we pick you up at the port/airport. We drive to Chefchaouen making a stop in Tetouan city; it’s known for its Spanish architectural heritage. Then we head to Chefchaouen city where you will have free time to explore the blue city and walk through its astonishing narrow streets that get high gradually since the city was built over the Mountains. As for our dinner, it will be held in a hotel in Chefchaouen square where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Roman Ruins - Meknes - Fes

Our journey starts at 08:00 am after having breakfast, crossing the Rif Mountains and villages of Jbala. We stop at Volubilis; the UNESCO world heritage site. Afterward, we continue to Fes city; one of the four imperial cities and it’s considered as morocco’s most religious and cultural center. (Night in riad or hotel)

Day 3: Off-road day to explore Fes city.

  That day we highly recommend hiring an official guide who will enrich you with information about the most interesting places such as Madrassa (Quranic school), Bouinania, Attarin souk, Fes El-Jadid, El-Qarawiyyin Mosque which is considered also as a university (the oldest university in the world). It’s very important to visit the neighborhood of leather tanners, where we can explore the craftsmanship. (Night in riad or hotel)

Day 4: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Monkey forest-Erfoud - Sahara desert.

After breakfast, we will pick you up at 08:00 am from your riad/hotel. Then we drive south to Ifran then Azrou forest through the Middle Atlas Mountains. On the way, we will stop at the cedar forest to see the Barbarian apes in their natural habitat. Then we go to Midelt, the city of apples. We have lunch and we go through the Tizi-Ntalghemt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through the volcanic rocks and through the Ziz valley to Erfoud and Merzouga. After we arrive in the desert and drink a cup of mint tea, we’ll leave the luggage in a secure room, then we take a camel ride to a Berber camp; the camel trek to the camp takes an hour and a half. The tents are immaculately equipped with mattresses, blankets, and cushions. After dinner, we will gather around the fire and enjoy the sound of traditional Berber drums under a starry sky.

Day 5: Merzouga - Todgha Gorges - Valley of roses - Ouarzazate.

You got to wake up early to go up the sand dunes in order to enjoy the fantastic view of the sunrise, as well as take fabulous pictures. Then you’ll be carried by camels in a return to the hotel for taking a shower and having breakfast. Our next destination will be Rissani town to explore and walk around a traditional market. As soon as leaving Rissani town there is a sequent of Berber villages scattered around and wilderness landscape along the way, till we get to Tinjdad town where we will make a stop to have lunch. We drive to Todgha Gorges (water canyon), with free time to walk around. Then we go through the beautiful Dades Valley, Boumalne, and visit Qalaate Magouna rose Valley. Then we make a stop in a rose cooperative to see how various products are made of roses such as shampoo, soap, perfume, and then we continue to Ouarzazate; the Hollywood of Africa. (Night in riad or hotel)

Day 6: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben hadou - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Our journey will start at 09:00 am, we drive about 40 minutes to visit the world heritage UNESCO site; Ait Ben Haddou. La Kasbah is surrounded by a protective high thick wall against external attacks with many towers in. Then we continue our way passing through Tizi-N-Tishka and High Atlas Mountains (with a height of 2260m) enjoying the marvelous views till we get to the touristic capital of Morocco; Marrakech. (Night in riad or hotel)

Day 7: Off-road day to explore Marrakech

We strongly recommend you to accompany a local city guide to visit and discover countless places. Among which: The Menara, Madrasa Ben Youssef, Dar Si Said Museum, Agdal Garden, Saadian Tombs, Badi and Bahia palaces. In the evening, you will have free time to see the most popular place in the city; Jemaa El Fnaa. It’s a big yard where a lot of activities are taken place in order to watch and enjoy, such as popular theatre, snakes manipulators, charmers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, fortune tellers, and entertainers. The dinner will be held in Jemaa El Fnaa. (Night in riad)

Day 8: (parting day)
