4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert
Tour M4: Marrakech - Dades - Merzouga - Ouarzazate Marrakech
Day 1 : Marrakesh - Ouarzazate - Dades gorges:
I will pick you up at 8:00 am. We will start our journey by travelling across Tizi-N-Tishka atlas pass (alt 2260m) with amazing views across the mountains to visit the UNESCO world heritage site “ Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah “, Kasbah is surrounded by a protective high thick wall against external attacks with many towers in. We have lunch there, and then we drive to the city of roses: Kalaat Magouna. We cross the rose valley and make a stop at roses cooperative to see how they produce various products from roses like shampoo, soap, and perfume. Then we continue to Dades Gorges where we spend the night in a riad / hotel.
Day 2 : From Dades goarges to Merzouga:
After breakfast, our journey will start at 8:00 am, Berber villages are scattered along the
way. The first destination will be in Todgha Gorges; it is a water canyon between very high mountains
and will be the first destination for Morocco mountaineering enthusiasts. Then we go to have lunch in Tinjdad city. After lunch we drive and make a very important stop at the Berber shop to get your Turbans, along with souvenirs. Afterward we go straight to the Sahara desert of Merzouga where the camels owner will be waiting for you to be taken on an adventure in the sand dunes to an
immaculate equipped camp .This camel trek is an hour and half long. When you get there, an atmosphere of sunset is waiting . In addition to this, the golden dunes flatter both the sunset and the sunrise even more. Dinner will be held in front of the tent where you’ll spend the night around an
astonishing environment while stars are gleaming on the sky. During the night, you’ll enjoy a
traditional Berber drum band .
Day 3 : Merzouga - Ouarzazate.
Before sunrise, you will be woken up to climb the sand dunes for fantastic photo opportunities. We
will then make our way back to the hotel for showers and breakfast before we continue our journey to Ouarzazate, passing through Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkob, and the Draa Valley. We will spend the night in a hotel/riad in Ouarzazate
Day 4: Ouarzazate ---Marrakech
After breakfast. The final day starts at 9:00 am. We will visit the atlas studio where most American
movies scenes were filmed such as “Gladiator” , “Laurence of Arabia “ and “Game of Thrones“.then
we go through the majestic Tizi-Ntishka pass, reaching an altitude of 2260m over the high Atlas
mountains. We will stop to enjoy the impressive views and having lunch . We will arrive in Marrakech by the afternoon at 16h .
-Tour includes comfortable transportation, driver/guide who speaks your language, fuel. Hotel/ Riad/desert camp over-night stay.
-Not included: plane tickets, lunch, meals, drinks, and tickets for historical monuments
