Excursion to Volubilis:
Volubilis is an ancient Punic city dating to approximately the third century BC. It is one of the most visited archeological sites of Morocco and North Africa. Considered as UNESCO world heritage since 1997, the site is located 33 kilometers north of Meknes, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco. and not far from Moulay Driss town, the birthplace of the Idrissids dynasty, founders of the Moroccan state. Due to its critical position in the center of the country, it was the subject of power dispute for all the civilizations that ruled morocco. That’s a bonus for history lovers as they can witness the punic, roman, and Islamic marks in the well-preserved ruins of the ancient city. The forum, the basilica, the temple of Jupiter, the baths, the Arch of Caracalla, and the beautiful mosaics are examples of what you can see there. (Guided visit is optional).
Excursion from Essaouira to Marrakech:
You may know Essaouira from its famous Gnawa world festival for music and arts. but it would be our pleasure to introduce you to its other side. We depart from Marrakech at 08:00 am. Our first stop is going to be after two hours at the birthplace of Argan trees. Afterwards we continue driving till we get to Argan cooperative in order to get some knowledge about how different products are made of Argan oil. 45 minutes later we reach the ancient port of Mogador; it was built by the Portuguese in a narrow peninsula with a huge rock crescent, perfectly sheltered by stunning French-built walls from the eighteenth century. The city has countless pedestrian crossings. It is divided into many districts; each has its unique architecture. From the top of Skala, you can see the colorful fishing port and Spanish fortresses with cannons. Essaouira is also famous for its fine handicrafts, especially wood artisanal products called ¨Tuya¨ that are perfectly interspersed with lemonwood, ebony, nacre, copper, or silver threads. If you’d like to, enjoy a meal in the port. We return to Marrakech by evening.
Excursion to "Ait ben Haddou kasabah" from Marrakech:
This long tour will drive us through the High Atlas by an impressive mountain road that winds through the picturesque valleys and numerous Berber villages and gemstones sellers up to Tizi N’Tichka, the highest mountain pass in the Atlas with a height of 2,260 m. In the south, beyond these impressive mountains covered with snow from November to April, different semi-desert landscape emerges, dotted along the river on the way to Ouarzazate with Kasbahs and small houses of mud and straw that contrast sharply with the emerald green fields around. The visit to Ouarzazate; a modern military town, was built by the French on the edge of the Sahara. Including the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou that contains also a picturesque old mountain town, Kasbah was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and it is well known among film directors, Then Atlas Studio, making it one of the most interesting visits.
Excursion to Ouzoud waterfalls from Makakech:
Within just a short journey from Marrakech, this day trip is the refreshment from the vibrant and busy red city. At 08:00 am, our tour will take you across the majestic Atlas Mountains to show you the highest waterfall in North Africa and the most fascinating one in Morocco. It is located 157 km from Marrakech; it takes about three hours and half to get there. We will go from a very flat landscape to a much more mountainous terrain. Many villages are scattered along the way. As you approach the area around Ouzoud, the landscapes will completely switch, and the temperature gets colder. The waterfall is of a height of 110 meters. It’s gratifying to taste a glass of tea overlooking the cascades from one of many well-placed cafes. Afterwards we will enjoy a walk by the river and also riding a boat to enjoy further. Lunch takes place in a restaurant terrace so as to enjoy the magnificent waterfalls view. Finally we return to Marrakech by the evening.
Excursion to Ourika valley from Marrakech:
We depart from your accommodation at 9:00 am; arrive at Ourika Valley, visiting the lush Ourika Valley and many small little towns along the valley. We continue to Setti Fatma where you can enjoy delicious local cuisine and a short walk along the waterfalls. Back to Marrakech by afternoon.
